Stu, Ash and Johan in Melbourne

With Johan, Ashley & Stu hedaing east for Geelong, what a joke. The sceduled flight from perth to Avalon was cancelled due to mechanical problems. We got put onto a flight to Sydney. After 16 hrs we are now sitting in Sydney airport waiting for yet another delayed flight to Avalon.
The three of us are red eyed, tired & bored. The eye candy isn't helping. Now i'm running out of credit, JUST OUR LUCK :>

Oops he did it again!!!!

Well he has done it again.
Stuart has stacked it AGAIN. This time not on the bike, but while stepping over the gate & one of the dogs (In her defence she lays at the same gate position every day- never changes.)he has fallen & now has 4 stiches to the palm of his hand.

WELL DONE Stuart!!!!!!!!!!

Ironman Champions!

Congrats to our Ironman champions, sorry this story is so late! I think we have some race reports coming in over the next few days, so keep your eye out. Of particular note was Ross who Michele said was more of a robot than a triathlete when he came across the line in the amazing time of 9:38:06 and Colin who once again qualified for Hawaii. Johan also did a 3:06:09 first marathon, an amazing time for a veteran marathoner. Anyhow, the results:

Left Bank Triathlon & Ironman

A first outing for many of the squad and some outstanding results straight up in the season somewhat scarily for members of the squad that haven't really been doing as much training as they should have been (ahem).

Bunbury Triathlon

Well done to Michelle, Loretta, Johan and Tristan who successfully completed the first Triathlon of the season, all in the top 50 places! Awesome job.

Stuarts Birthday/ Beer Fest

We are all pleased to see that Stu has made it to another birthday. Good on Ya Stu. All the best for the upcoming year.
For those wondering why we have not seen much of Greg at training it may be due to the fact that he has been getting ready to go to october fest in Germany. Have a great trip Greg and wish Jeremy all the best.

Cyclo Sportif - Pinjarra

At daybreak the weather looked ominous, bringing back the not-so-distant and rather disturbing memories of the Swan Valley race. Valiantly, both Eclipse teams were back to take another crack – the A riders (Stuart, Greg, Paul, Macca, Johan, Nathan, and Tristan) and B riders (Dale, Helen, Lauren, Amy, and Tara). This time, things went our way and while the weather threatened, it did no more than bluster and blow. Under normal circumstances the wind would have warranted complaint – but on this occasion it was all relative to the Swan Valley race!

Cyclo Sportif - Swan Valley

It was an absolutely shocking day. 9 of us were huddled under the awning outside the speeddome that stank like an open sewer waiting for the race to start. The 'B' riders, Dale, Andrea, Tara, Helen and Lauren took off with their section and Stu, Macca, Johan and Me (Greg) went down to the start line. Where was Mike (Frodo)? No one knew but we'd called him and he was around somewhere. Stu went back for him and the rain started belting down. Found him, swore at him, then off we went.
